The holidays typically represent a time of year when we gather with family and friends and give thanks for our blessings. Most of us will never know the devastation that families with terminally ill children face during this time of year. But for those that do, small acts of comfort and kindness from strangers are often the best gifts they will receive. With that in mind, The Mighty Mousekewitz embarked on a mission and has since earned a place in the hearts of many.
The Mighty Mousekewitz (Mouse) really does visit Children's Hospitals on Christmas Day every year! Not in a sleigh, of course, but she's been bringing Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuffed toys to the kids that are too sick to be home for Christmas for several years!
For children who spend the entire year counting the days between treatments, rather than the days until Christmas, Mouse's small gesture provides a reminder that they are not forgotten.
The Mighty Mousekewitz (Mouse) knows what it's like to overcome life's challenges because she was the runt of her litter. Born not breathing and with barely a heartbeat, she had to fight to live. Thankful to be alive, The Mighty Mousekewitz lives her life with a spirit of gratitude and service. Among the things she does in the community, Mouse visits Children's Hospitals on Christmas Day every year to deliver stuffed mouse toys and smiles.
With whimsical illustrations, A Mousekewitz Christmas is a read-aloud book that's great for story time, and is sure to be a hit among fans of The Mighty Mousekewitz! Truly a touching tale to add to your Christmas collection.
If you want a new tradition for Christmas Eve and kids giving to others...this is the perfect gift! This simple story about kindness and teamwork resonates with both children and adults.

CAMP FIRE CHILDREN'S RELIEF
How do we feel grateful in the aftermath of devastation? Human tragedy can color the lens through which we see the world, especially when there is so much loss and pain. While Mouse was celebrating Thanksgiving Day 2018, she decided to help give the victims of the Camp Fire something to be grateful for. So we bagged up the stuffed Mickey Mouse toys that Mouse had accumulated to go to Children's Hospital for Christmas this year (72 of 'em). And, along with 1,000 A Mousekewitz Christmas books, we drove 4-1/2 hours to Paradise, CA and dropped them off at shelters to help ease the pain of the children who lost everything in the fire.
MIGHTY MOUSEKEWITZ STUFFED TOYS
Throughout the year we raise funds to purchase Mighty Mousekewitz K9 Hero stuffed toys to deliver to the children at Children's Hospital on Christmas Day.
